How to Submit Abstract

Abstract Submission Guideline

  • ① All abstracts must be submitted via the Heart Failure Seoul 2023 congress website ONLY.
  • ② All abstracts must be submitted in English only.
  • ③ Abstracts shall NOT be longer than 350 words.
  • ④ An optional figure and table may be included in your submission.
      (The permitted formats for figures and tables are pdf, png, jpg, docx, doc)
  • ⑤ When you submit your abstract online, your abstract will be automatically edited according to Heart Failure Seoul 2023
      submission formats.
  • ⑥ The submission form is intended for the review of the abstract.
  • ⑦ It is the authors’ responsibility to review the submissions and correct them. Submitters are responsible for
      all typing errors in the abstract.
  • ⑧ It will be possible to check and modify your abstract until the July 14(Fri.), 2023 (23:59 KST) on My Page.
  • ⑨ The accepted e-Posters are reviewed again, high quality abstracts will be assigned as a mini-oral presentation.
      The Presenting Authors will have the opportunity to present their e-Poster for 5 minutes. The detailed information will be uploaded on the Heart Failure Seoul 2023 website.
  • ⑩ Please make sure that you receive an e-mail confirmation after you submit an abstract.
  • ⑪ Presenting authors whose abstracts has been accepted need to register with full payment for the congress.
       If you cannot complete your registration with full payment, your abstract shall NOT be included in the abstract book.
  • ⑫ The type of your abstract (oral or e-poster) may be changed after the review of the Scientific Committee and
      both the presenting author and corresponding author will be notified of the change in presentation type no
      later than July 28(Fri.), 2023 (23:59 KST).
  • ⑬ For Overseas Oral Presenter: If you can’t travel to Korea, the presentation will be able to replaced by submitting
       pre-recorded video clip (MP4) following our recommendations.
  • ⑭ If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please request to have it withdrawn by sending an email to the
      Heart Failure Seoul 2023 secretariat as soon as possible.

Awards

Notice

  • · Accepted abstract presenters will be refunded the registration fee after the congress.
  • · If a presenter does not present the abstract and complete pre-registration, the Award will be canceled.
  • · Duplicate awards are NOT allowed.
  • · But foreign presenter (including foreign participants affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea)
      can both receive awards and travel grants.

  • * You can apply for Young Investigator Award when you submit your abstract.
      (Young Investigator Award Session: Sep. 23(Sat), 13:00-14:20
  • * Applicants must be under the age of 40 by the date of the presentation.
  • * You should upload your CV specifying your date of birth for age verification when you submit the abstracts.
  • * The most outstanding abstracts will be selected.
  • * The prize money will be provided as you sign the receipt in the preview room after the awards ceremony
      (16:40-17:30, September 23rd, 2023).

Applications

Candidate should first submit the abstract via congress website and then please send an application email to The Korean Society of Heart Failure(kshf4@kshf.or.kr) by July 28(Fri.), 2023.

  • - Cardiology doctors who are enthusiastic about the field of heart failure.
  • - Qualifying countries are those defined as lower-middle income economies as determined by
      the World Bank.

Program

Winners must participate in the program below.

  • - Week 1: Observational training at training hospital
  • - Week 2: Participation in the Heart Failure Seoul 2023 with CTC Asia 2023

Merits

The prize will be KRW 1,500,000 for 3 winners.

* The prize will be paid after the end of CTC Asia 2023.

Travel Grants

Awarded to all overseas presenters of the abstracts that have been accepted.

Eligibility Travel Grants
  • - Abstract presenters who have applied for a Travel Grants.
  • - Abstract presenters must be non-Korean.
  • - All presenters must be pre-registered participants with full payment.
  • - All presenters should attend the on-site Heart Failure Seoul 2023 congress.
    		•  Foreigner USD 600
    Foreign Residents in Korea USD 200
    • · You can receive the Travel Grants on-site at the preview room during the Heart Failure Seoul 2023.
        * You must show your passport or residence card.
    • · The Travel Grant is given only once to the presenting author regardless of the number of accepted abstracts or co-authors.
    • · But foreign presenter (including foreign participants affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea) can both receive awards and
        travel grants.
