How to Submit
Abstract Submission Guideline
-
- ① All abstracts must be submitted via the Heart Failure Seoul 2024 congress website ONLY.
- ② All abstracts must be submitted in English only.
- ③ Abstracts shall NOT be longer than 350 words.
- ④ An optional figure and table may be included in your submission.
(The permitted formats for figures and tables are pdf, png, jpg, docx, doc)
- ⑤ When you submit your abstract online, your abstract will be automatically edited according to
Heart Failure Seoul 2024 submission formats.
- ⑥ The submission form is intended for the review of the abstract.
- ⑦ It is the authors’ responsibility to review the submissions and correct them. Submitters are responsible for
all typing errors in the abstract.
- ⑧ It will be possible to check and modify your abstract until the
September 12(Thu.),
2024 (23:59 KST) on My Page.
- ⑨ The accepted e-Posters will be reviewed again, and high-quality abstracts will be assigned as Moderated
Posters.
Authors whose abstracts are selected for moderated posters will have the chance to present their work at
HF Agora and compete for the Best Moderated Poster Award, which will be based on their presentation
scores.

- ⑩ Please make sure that you receive an e-mail confirmation after you submit an abstract.
- ⑪ Authors whose abstracts have been accepted must register for the congress by making full payment
before the original registration deadline of October 18, 23:59 KST., even if there is an extension.
If you do not complete your registration and make full payment, your abstract will be withdrawn and not be
included in the abstract book.
- ⑫ Your abstract format (oral or e-poster) is subject to change following review by the Scientific Committee,
and notification of the change in presentation type will be sent to both the presenting author and
corresponding author no later than
October 15 (Tue.),
2024.
- ⑬ Should you wish to withdraw an abstract, please promptly request its withdrawal by emailing the
Heart Failure Seoul 2024 secretariat.
Awards
Notice
- · Accepted abstract presenters will receive a refund of the registration fee after the congress.
- · If a presenter does not present the abstract and complete pre-registration, the Award will be canceled.
- · Duplicate awards are NOT allowed.
- · Foreign presenters, including those affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea, are eligible to receive
both awards and travel grants.
- * You can apply for the Young Investigator Award while submitting your abstract.
(Young Investigator Award Session: November 22 (Fri) 09:30-11:00)
- * Applicants must be under 40 years old by the date of the presentation, meaning their date of
birth must be before November 24, 1984.

* When applying for the Young Investigator Award, please remember to submit your CV including
your date of birth, to the secretariat by the abstract submission deadline of August 30 (Fri), 2024.
- * Abstracts of exceptional quality will be considered for the Young Investigator Award.
* The accepted abstracts will be reviewed again, and high-quality abstracts will be selected for
Oral Presentations.
* Authors whose abstracts are selected for oral presentations will have the opportunity to receive
the HF Research Award based on their presentation scores.
(There are no age limits for award recipients.)

* The accepted abstracts will be reviewed again, and high-quality abstracts will be assigned as
Moderated Posters.
* Authors whose abstracts are chosen for moderated posters will have the opportunity to present their
work at HF Agora. Their presentations will be evaluated for the Best Moderated Poster Award.
* The detailed information will be updated on the Heart Failure Seoul 2024 website.
* The accepted cases will be reviewed again, and high-quality abstracts will be selected to present their
work at HF Agora.
* Presenters have the chance to win the Best Case Award based on their presentation scores.

Travel Grants
All overseas presenters of the accepted abstracts will receive travel grants.

- All presenters must be pre-registered participants with full payment.
- All presenters should attend the on-site Heart Failure Seoul 2024 congress.

- · Travel Grants can be collected on-site at the preview room during the Heart Failure Seoul 2024.
* You must show your passport or residence card.
- · Travel grants are only provided once to the presenting author, regardless of the number of accepted abstracts or co-authors.
- · It is not possible to receive Travel Grants by proxy.
- · Foreign presenters, including those affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea, are eligible to receive both awards and
travel grants.
- · Those who received the non-acceptance email with the e-Poster Guidelines will not receive a travel grant, even if they submit an
e-poster.
